Been a while.....
Sorry I haven't written anything in a while. I've been asked by a few people what's going on and why I haven't written.
There are a lot of things going on right now. The wedding date is set for Nov 12th of this year and it is coming up VERY fast. I'm also working on a website for the wedding, though, it isn't finished. You can see it at http://www.kristinandjasontietheknot.com :-)
We had our engagement pictures made a few weeks back. They turned out great. A friend of Kristin's took them. Her website is http://www.stephanieoberlander.com
It's a secure website with a password so only the people that we send invitations to and the password will be able to access it. We just decided that we both wanted only our close family and friends to be involved with the wedding. However, if you'd like to log in and look around we don't mind giving out the password. You'll have to wait. though, because the site isn't finished.
Something else that is going on is that I am taking a lot of freelance work. I'm doing one website for an energy efficiency organization up in Maryland. That's going well and I am nearly done. I have about 5 websites in queue after this one. So I am VERY busy with websites.
Last thing that I am up to related to websites is that I am working on separating my work website and my personal website. That is going to be a HUGE task. I've already got the domain name and the site mostly built. It will look very vintage and will just be a showcase of my work rather than trying to advertise everything I can do. This website has become too crowded and too large to maintain easily. So I've decided to scale it down.
I'll host my pictures on here along with some videos, and my music (which I am still working on). I'll also continue to post blog entires from time to time.
As for the wedding, Kristin and I are getting excited about things and we are planning a BIG honeymoon trip for next year to Kenya. We decided that we didn't want to settle for just any old honeymoon location and we wanted to go somewhere very different. So we'll be going to Kenya and doing a Safari as well as spending some time on the Indian Ocean. It will be pretty amazing I'm sure. That will make the 4th continent I have been on and, I think, the 14th or 15th country. My goal is to go to every continent, including Antartica. Kristin wants to do the same thing and we both love traveling. I think eventually we'll head south to South America and knock out Antartica and South America in one trip, but that will be a long while.
Anyway, you can look at all of our photos by clicking here.
